HSEQ Coordinator, EPC Division
ALMACO GroupAs EPC HSEQ Coordinator, you will support and coordinate Health, Safety, Environment and Quality activities at project site level and related locations within our EPC division.
Reporting to the Site Manager and working closely with Project Managers and site teams, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with legal requirements, client specifications, and ISO standards, while actively promoting a strong HSEQ culture throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Health, Safety & Environment
- Act as the HSEQ responsible leader at site and related locations
- Coordinate HSE activities and ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations
- Provide HSE induction for new employees at site
- Identify hazards, assess risks, and define preventive and corrective controls
- Identify environmental aspects, impacts, and related controls
- Identify potential emergency situations and support emergency response actions
- Participate in HSE audits at site and vendor premises when applicable
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards to obtain and maintain certification
- Execute Project HSEQ Plans at site
- Conduct inspections for all site deliverables and vendor materials, including FATs
- Deliver inspection reports, NCRs, and HSEQ & Quality metrics as defined for the project
- Support quality assurance activities, including process audits, documentation control and continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with client specifications and contractual quality requirements
- Review and approve subcontractor HSEQ documentation prior to execution
Training & Continuous Improvement
- Identify training needs related to HSEQ risks and management systems
- Promote awareness and best practices related to HSEQ across site teams
Experience & qualifications
- Proven experience in HSEQ roles within EPC, construction, industrial or project‑driven environments
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 management systems
- Experience with site inspections, audits, NCR management and vendor coordination
- Ability to work closely with project teams in a site‑based, fast‑paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a hands‑on, structured working approach
