Safety Advisor

A Role Description

This is a boots on the ground full-time role in Lewisville, TX for a Safety Advisor at John Burns Construction Company of Texas, LLC. The Safety Advisor will be responsible for monitoring Health & Safety protocols and conducting Occupational Health assessments in the field, conducting incident investigations, providing safety training and on site coaching ensuring construction safety requirements focused to create a positive and safe workplace culture within operations and the safety team.

Qualifications / Experience

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of OSHA construction regulations and compliance standards
• Prior experience in excavation safety is required and confined space entry is a plus
• Credentials from the BCSP or the NASP is a plus.
• Experience in safety training programs is a plus.
• Bilingual is required. ( Spanish speaking )
• Excavation Safety experience required.
• Ideal candidate will have a minimum 2-5 years experience in safety.
