Environmental Health & Safety Manager

Klever Services is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Manager responsible for maintaining compliance with applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations and leading company‑wide safety initiatives in San Marcos, Tx.

Position Overview

Evaluate company processes, safety standards, and practices, identifying and correcting non‑compliance issues.

Lead safety improvement efforts and implementation of safety programs, including behavior‑based safety initiatives.

Serve as the OSHA‑competent resource for the site and maintain required safety certifications and training programs.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct routine safety audits, process confirmation walks, and safety committee meetings; develop corrective and continuous improvement plans.

Maintain safety records including incident reports, MSDS/SDS files, operator certifications, and OSHA logs.

Develop, update, and deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and new‑hire orientation with site management.

Train associates and contractors on safe equipment operation and company safety practices.

Investigate near misses, first aids, and safety incidents and complete all required reports.

Coordinate workers’ compensation follow‑up, light‑duty placement, and return‑to‑work activities as needed.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in a safety management or safety support role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Experience with behavior‑based safety and training delivery strongly preferred.

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); strong organizational and communication skills.

Work Environment

Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., primarily in an office within the facility with regular time on the production floor.

Requires the use of PPE such as safety glasses, hard hat, hearing protection, high‑visibility vest, and steel‑toe shoes.

Role involves walking, standing, and working in a manufacturing environment.
