The Municipal District of Bonnyville (M.D.) is looking for an Occupational Health & Safety Advisor to become a part of the Corporate Services Team.

• *What this position entails**:
• Advising on compliance and interpretation of the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulation and Code and any other relevant legislation
• Promoting, supporting, coordinating and advising in all areas of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System
• Participating in the audit process of the Safety Management System
• Promoting safety awareness and the use of the Safety Management System to reduce, mitigate and/or eliminate hazards
• Participating, supporting, and advising in all areas of the Inspection Process and the Incident Process.
• Conducting and/or coordinating training required under the Safety Management System
• Gather and manage data relating to the Safety Management System and analyze trends
