Vanee Farm Centre has served Southern Alberta’s farming community for over 50 years as a trusted agricultural equipment dealership. With six locations and a growing team, we are looking for a practical, people-focused HR & Safety Manager to support our staff and leadership.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on in HR and safety, supporting managers with employee matters, and helping ensure programs run smoothly across multiple locations.

You’ll work closely with our leadership team while also being the person employees trust to help navigate HR and safety processes.

This role involves periodic travel between locations to support managers, employees, and safety programs.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources

Lead recruitment, onboarding, and employee development

Support managers with employee relations, coaching, and performance discussions

Maintain HR policies and ensure compliance with Alberta Employment Standards

Administer payroll, benefits, and leave programs (PayWorks, Alberta Blue Cross)

Assist with workforce planning and HR program administration

Safety & Compliance

Manage Occupational Health & Safety programs across all branches

Coordinate safety training and maintain OHS compliance

Handle WCB claims, return-to-work programs, and incident reporting

Support ongoing safety initiatives and training

Culture & Communication

Support employee engagement and recognition initiatives

Assist with internal communications and company programs

Help promote a strong, team-focused culture across locations
