Drug Safety Seasonal Associate

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:_
The primary duties and responsibilities will be defined as needed by the functional area where the incumbent is located.
- Review incoming source documents and report pertinent safety information in accordance with regulations
- Liaise and communicate through follow-ups with internal and external customers to obtain additional information or clarification
- Perform a triage assessment of adverse event information in compliance with client SOP/protocols
- Data entry and submission of adverse event information into program specific databases in a timely manner
- Sort and file incoming documents from various sources
- When necessary, participate in redaction activities of document information for client's privacy
- Assist and participate in preparation of business reports
What your background should look like
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:_
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with a post-secondary institution. Must be able to work between 8 and 40 hours per week, depending on the department's needs.
- MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:_- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing- Good project management skills- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and leadership skills- Customer service experience an asset-
- Must be eager to learn, self-motivated, flexible, accountable and can effectively handle multiple tasks at one time- Excellent organizational and time-management skills- Knowledge of computers to operative effectively with PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, and Microsoft Outlook
