General Description
This position is responsible for contributing to the creation and communication of health, safety, environmental, quality and ISO certification programs for Andritz Bonetti Canada Inc. facilities. The objective of this position is to ensure that the company complies with local, state and federal requirements for all health and safety regulations, and to ensure that products delivered to internal and external customers are of the highest quality, in accordance with company policies, documentation control programs and international standards.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
- Work closely with company leadership to implement and maintain an ISO-compliant QHSE documented system.
- Help implement the health and safety system to ensure optimal workplace safety.
- Evaluate company procedures and policies to identify and reduce risks.
- Coordinate employee training and maintain training records for employees.
- Participate in accident and non-conformity investigations.
- Monitor and report on the environmental management program.
- Conduct internal audits in relation to health and safety, quality and the ISO system.
- Decide on and implement corrective actions to improve company processes.
- Collaborate with ISO auditors to facilitate external audits.
- Maintain up-to-date health & safety, environmental, quality and ISO documentation.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality.
- Carry out audits of the company's suppliers.
- Participate in health and safety meetings with the division manager.
- Emergency response skills.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Technical diploma in industrial field OR relevant experience in a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience within a manufacturing environment. Preferred: 5+ years of experience within a manufacturing environment. Experience in health and safety, quality management and ISO.
- Languages: French and English
- Ability to work independently as well as in group settings.
- Able to prioritize, multi-task and problem solve
- Must possess time management, communication (both written and oral) skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management, employees, customers and regulatory agencies
- Understanding of Local, State and Federal statutes and ability to interface with these agencies.
- In-Depth understanding of quality control procedures
- Ability to produce concise and accurate reports and/or presentation materials
- Proficiency using standard business software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of ISO as well as safety regulations and policies.

Le titulaire de ce poste est chargé de contribuer à la création et à la communication des programmes relatifs à la santé, à la sécurité, à l'environnement, à la qualité et à la certification ISO pour les installations d’Andritz Bonetti Canada inc. L'objectif de ce poste est de veiller à ce que l'entreprise respecte les exigences locales, nationales et fédérales pour toutes les réglementations de santé/sécurité et de s'assurer que les produits livrés aux clients internes et externes sont de la plus haute qualité, conformément aux politiques de l'entreprise, aux programmes de contrôle de la documentation et aux normes internationales.
TÂCHES ET RESPONSABILITÉS
- Travailler de près avec le leadership de l’entreprise pour implanter et maintenir un système documenté de QSE conforme à la norme ISO.
- Aider à l’implantation du système de santé et sécurité pour assurer une sécurité optimale du lieu de travail
- Évaluer les procédures et les politiques de l’entreprise pour identifier et réduire les risques
- Coordonner la formation des employés et tenir les preuves de formation pour ceux-ci.
- Participer aux enquêtes sur les accidents et non-conformités.
- Suivre le programme de gestion de l’environnement et préparer les rapports nécessaires à ce sujet.
- Mener des audits internes par rapport à la santé et sécurité, à la qualité et au système ISO.
- Décider des actions correctives à prendre et les mettre en œuvre pour améliorer les processus de l’entreprise.
- Collaborer avec les auditeurs ISO afin de faciliter les audits externes.
- Maintenir à jour la documentation de santé et sécurité, d’environnement, de qualité et ISO
- Effectuer les inspections sur les produits finis pour en assurer la qualité
