Health and Safety Coordinator

- *Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Facilitate training development programs for employees on health and safety practices, ensuring all staff are informed of potential risks and safety measures.
- Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement preventative measures.
- Maintain accurate records of safety training, incidents, inspections, and compliance reports.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to health and safety.
- *Qualifications**
- Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental, or a related experience in field is preferred.
- Proven experience in a health and safety management role or similar position.
- Strong knowledge of OH&S regulations and other relevant health and safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train employees at all levels.
- Experience in fabricating effective training materials tailored to various audiences is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Certification in health and safety is desirable.

Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
