Health and Safety Coordinator

**Overview**

• *Responsibilities**
• Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Facilitate training development programs for employees on health and safety practices, ensuring all staff are informed of potential risks and safety measures.
• Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement preventative measures.
• Maintain accurate records of safety training, incidents, inspections, and compliance reports.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to health and safety.
• *Qualifications**
• Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental, or a related experience in field is preferred.
• Proven experience in a health and safety management role or similar position.
• Strong knowledge of OH&S regulations and other relevant health and safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to train employees at all levels.
• Experience in fabricating effective training materials tailored to various audiences is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Certification in health and safety is desirable.

Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
