Mobile Occupational Health Technician

- *About the Role**:
As a **Mobile Occupational Health Technician**, you will be an essential part of our team, providing onsite occupational health testing services at various client locations. This hands-on role includes setting up equipment, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with current health and safety regulations. You will represent HealthyWorker’s values of professionalism, accountability, and client-focused service.
- *Key Responsibilities**:
- **Drug and Alcohol Testing**: Conduct accurate and confidential testing to help ensure safe and compliant workplaces.
- **Respirator Fit Testing**: Use specialized equipment to verify proper respirator fit for employee protection.
- **Audiometric Testing**: Perform hearing assessments to support the prevention of occupational hearing loss.
- **Spirometry Testing**: Conduct pulmonary function tests to evaluate respiratory health.
- **Hearing Protection Fit Testing**: Assist individuals in selecting and fitting the right hearing protection for their needs.
- *What We’re Looking For**:
- *Requirements**:
- A valid **Class 5 Driver’s License** and a clean driver’s abstract
- Experience pulling a trailer; previous experience with commercial fleet driving is an asset
- Strong **customer service** and **communication skills**:
- Ability to work independently, maintain attention to detail, and represent the company professionally
- General **office**, **healthcare**, or **technical skills** are a strong advantage
- *Nice to Have (but not required)**:
- Previous experience in occupational health testing
- Certifications in drug/alcohol testing, spirometry, or audiometry
- Experience working in a mobile service or healthcare setting
