Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager / Director to lead the end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-agency technology and infrastructure initiatives with a strong emphasis on Public Safety and 911 system integration. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in emergency response systems and proven success managing large-scale projects within the NYC government environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the successful execution of multifaceted infrastructure projects involving multiple government agencies, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, timelines, and budgetary requirements.
• Utilize deep knowledge of emergency response frameworks, including CAD (Computer-Aided Dispatch), PSAPs (Public Safety Answering Points), and 911 operations, to drive technology integration and recommend operational enhancements.
• Establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships with NYC government stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and facilitating effective communication across all project phases.
• Direct and coordinate cross-functional teams comprising internal agency staff, external vendors, and contractors, optimizing resource utilization, mitigating risks, and proactively addressing project challenges.
• Develop and deliver detailed project plans, comprehensive status reports, and executive-level presentations, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making for all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale infrastructure or technology programs within NYC government or equivalent public sector environments.
• In-depth understanding of 911 system operations, emergency response technologies, and public safety communication protocols.
