Job Overview
We are seeking 3 passionate, career minded individuals to join our growing team in Hamilton Ontario. Celebrating 10 years in providing our valued clients with Health and Safety solutions
As a member of our Health and Safety department, you will be responsible for providing all aspects Health and Safety based on your current training certifications, education and experience. This is a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our workforce and maintaining compliance within current safety regulations.
- *Skills**:
Must have a strong working knowledge to create reports and record retention.
Must be fluent in English, allother languages will be considered and asset.
Must be well versered in the Use and opertion of Microsoft 365 Professional.
- *Required Qualifications**:
Must have successfully completed diploma or degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Management from a recognized and accredited training facility in Ontario.
Ability to communicate in a classroom, board room setting to complete site-specific orientations, safety talks, Field Level Risk Assessments, Job Safety Analysis etc.
Must possess a Valid Driver’s license and be able to provide a current drivers abstract with less than 6 demerit points.
Health and Safety designations and training will be considered an asset.
Must be able to participate in additional Health and Safety Training to receive additional Designations as part of the career path for advancement.
- *Duties/Responsibilities**
Complete the Pre-Start Reviews and Job Hazard Assessment as required.
Conduct incident / accident investigation.
Conducts Worksite Inspections and provides proactive measures.
Ensure Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) used and maintained by clients.
Follow company process and company Safe Work.
Provide support to clients to maintain compliance.
Working knowledge of CAN/CSA standards and regulations as per the scope of work.
Conduct Fire Extinguisher Monthly Inspections.
Create Safety Talks and conduct Safety Meetings.
