Safety Ahead Ltd.Safety Ahead is looking for an HSE Administrator to join our dynamic team. With over 32 years of direct experience in the construction industry, Safety Ahead believes in an honest, direct, genuine approach to safety needs customized to each company or organization.
Our mission is to provide positive, practical safety solutions for the construction and oil and gas industry in Alberta. We accomplish this task with two major methods:
- Our Top-Down Management Training Programs
- And our Bottom-Up “Think Ahead” Safety Program.
The Management Training Programs target the owners, management, and superintendents, and through a continually improving review system, safety is captured and effectively used to protect the workers. The “Think Ahead” Safety Program creates safe workplaces by educating workers to capture the “Spirit of Safety”. The way we see it “Workers that think safe are safe”.

The Roles and Responsibilities for this position may include, but are not limited to:
- Positive, collaborative approach to work.
- Maintain a strong working relationships with other Safety Ahead workers/supervisors.
- Prepare for and hold safety meetings and site training (for field staff, office staff - including upper management).
- Maintain high level of integrity and confidentiality with regard to company information.
- Interface with multiple departments and individuals in various capacities in a professional, courteous and respectful manner.
- Assist in developing, formatting and maintaining document files, both printed and digital.
- Assisting the Project Lead, and team on any other duties as requested
- Conducting inventory counts (monthly) on the company product.
- Draft correspondence, documents and reports.
- Updating/inputting weekly data.
- Preparing and shipping product orders.
- Assist in preparation of materials for special projects and events.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication, customer service, and phone skills
- Must have proficient computer and software skills on Microsoft Office programs (Word, Teams, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
- Pro-active problem solving skills.
- Ability to work within strict deadlines.
- Must be able to work without constant supervision.
- Excellent reading, proof-reading, editing, and technical writing skills and verbal communication skills in the English language.
- Have excellent organizational skills.
