Safety Officer - Full Time (Calgary, Alberta, Canada)
The Safety Officer’s responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Enforce company policies and procedures and Health and Safety Regulations
- Chair Safety Committee
- Assist with developing policies and plans to reduce employee risk
- Ensure safety training, classroom lectures, demos and hands-on instruction are completed
- Perform site/ office inspections, investigate accident/ incident reports
- Evaluate risks and hazards and suggest corrective action(s) if required
- Review and manage Corrective Actions as required
- Providing day to day assistance to the Operations team
- Maintain confidential safety records and files (organizing, and maintain cabinets)
- Type and edit reports, verbal and written transcription
