Director of Operations and Safety

The Director of Operations provides leadership, oversight, and coordination of the school system’s operations, including buildings and grounds, maintenance, school safety, and athletics. This position ensures that facilities are safe, efficient, and well-maintained; that safety protocols are developed and enforced; and that athletic programs are administered in compliance with state and local regulations. The director collaborates closely with school administrators, staff, and community partners to promote a safe and effective learning environment for all students and performs other duties as assigned by the Superintendent. Additional Job Information

QUALIFICATIONS : Master's degree in school administration or equivalent area, minimum of three years of administrative or supervisory experience in school operations, facilities, athletics, or related field. Knowledge of school safety protocols, facilities management, best practices, as well as pertinent AHSAA guidelines. Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills, ability to collaborate effectively with administrators, staff, parents, and community partners, and such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate.
