Environmental Health Safety Specialist

Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for an Environmental Health Safety Specialist based in Hong Kong SAR, with the opportunity for some remote work. The role involves ensuring workplace safety and maintaining compliance with environmental health and safety (EHS) regulations. Key tasks include implementing and monitoring safety management programs, conducting safety training sessions, performing regular risk assessments, and addressing occupational health issues. The specialist will also work on improving overall workplace safety culture and identifying hazards to promote a safe and compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience in Health & Safety and Workplace Safety standards
• Proven ability to develop and implement effective Environment Health and Safety (EHS) programs
• Skills in conducting Occupational Health assessments and Safety Training
• Familiarity with relevant environmental and occupational compliance regulations
• Excellent problem-solving and risk management abilities
• Proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills to drive safety initiatives
• Relevant certifications in EHS or occupational health and safety are a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field
