Metropolitan State Hospital is located in the City of Norwalk.
DSH-Metropolitan is now accepting applications for a Permanent, Full-time Program Director position. Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Administrator, the Program Director is responsible for the overall management, supervision, and assignments of staff allocated to the department, and maximizing the care and treatment progress of the patients served. Candidates must demonstrate effective leadership skills, plan and implement program goals, objectives and activities; establish program policies that complement existing hospital policies; analyze complex problems and take appropriate action; formulate and manage a multidisciplinary patient treatment program; integrate the program with the overall functions of the hospital; communicate effectively; promote the principles of Trauma Informed Care, Quality Improvement; and maintain standards throughout the department to meet regulatory requirements, i.e. Joint Commission and Licensing, and promote an environment of safe work practices.
