Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure all permits, licenses, and regulatory paperwork are current and compliant with local, state, and federal requirements.
• Oversee wastewater treatment processes, ensuring environmental standards are met and maintained.
• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety audits across all departments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Organize and facilitate safety committee meetings, fostering collaboration and communication on safety matters.
• Provide safety training and awareness programs to employees at all levels.
• Monitor and report on safety performance metrics, investigating incidents and implementing corrective measures.
• Stay informed about evolving environmental and safety regulations and best practices.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in EHS management, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of environmental permits, wastewater treatment, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough safety audits and risk assessments.
• Certification such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or OSHA training is preferred.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
