Job Highlights
- Patrols assigned areas of facilities and grounds on foot or in motorized vehicle
- Reports incidents or apparent potential loss of Hospital, employee, patient or visitor property through fire, theft or vandalism
- Responds to all service calls in a timely, safe, professional and courteous manner.
- Welcomes our customers to the Hospital. Provides timely and accurate directions to any location on Hospital Grounds.
- Directs vehicle traffic in and around hospital facilities
Candidate Profile
- 1+ year of experience in a customer service-focused organization required; 2+ years of experience in law enforcement, military or private security preferred
- Valid IL Firearm Owner’s ID Card required within 90 days of hire
- Valid driver’s license required
- Current CPR certification issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross within 90 days of hire
- Willingness to attain Crisis Prevention Intervention certification within 6 months of hire and certification by the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety for their Basic Healthcare Security Officer training course within 12 mos of hire
