Safety Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce workplace safety practices at project sites and company premises
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Ensure workers follow proper PPE requirements and safe work procedures
• Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings for workers
• Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
• Prepare and maintain safety documentation, reports, and checklists
• Assist in incident reporting and investigation when necessary
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and main contractors on safety matters
• Ensure compliance with MOM workplace safety and health regulations
• Promote a positive safety culture within the team

Requirements

• Certificate / Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health, Engineering, or related field
• Relevant safety certifications such as WSQ WSH courses, BCSS, or Work-at-Height will be an advantage
• Basic knowledge of construction or site safety practices
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Responsible, proactive, and detail-oriented
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, Word) for reports and documentation
• Candidates with some site experience are preferred, but training can be provided

Working Hours

Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm

Saturday: 8:30am – 12:30pm (Half Day)
