Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Safety Advisor position based across the southeast. The Safety Advisor will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations in highway construction and maintenance projects. The role involves conducting site inspections, providing safety training, evaluating risks, and implementing workplace safety programs to foster a culture of health and safety. The advisor will also work closely with operational teams to monitor safety protocols and provide expert guidance on safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Health & Safety practices, including risk assessment and regulatory compliance
• Experience in Occupational Health and promoting safety-focused work environments
• Skills in delivering Safety Training to teams and individuals
• Expertise in Workplace Safety and implementing safety strategies
• Knowledge of Construction Safety in the highway or infrastructure sectors
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• NEBOSH or equivalent qualification is preferred
• Experience in the highway or construction industry is highly advantageous
