Safety Manager

Safety Manager – Commercial Construction – Danville, PA

As a Safety Manager, you’ll lead the charge in creating a safe, compliant, and productive work environment on a large-scale healthcare construction project. We’re looking for a collaborative safety professional who can support field operations, build strong relationships onsite, and help drive a proactive safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily onsite safety oversight for active construction operations.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments to ensure OSHA compliance and safe work practices.
• Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and orientation support.
• Assist with incident investigations, corrective actions, and safety documentation.
• Partner closely with project teams, subcontractors, and field leadership to reinforce a proactive safety culture.
• Support high-risk construction activities including material handling, heavy equipment operations, excavation, overhead work, and confined space activities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction safety experience preferred.
• Previous healthcare, hospital, or large-scale commercial construction experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices.
• OSHA 500 required.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• CHST certification strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills and field presence.
