Program Manager, Patient Safety

HCT seeks an experienced nursing professional to serve as the Interim Program Manager of Patient Safety for a 325+ bed hospital in California. The responsibilities of the role include:

• Oversight of the event reporting process, root cause analysis, event investigations and review, and patient complaints/grievances, while ensuring accreditation and regulatory requirements for patient safety are fully met.
• Prepare and present information and actionable patient safety reports to appropriate committees, leadership and/or Board.

Requirements

• Education: BSN preferred
• Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of patient safety or risk experience within an acute care hospital setting. Having prior experience in CA and knowledge of CA laws and regulations will be important in this role.
• License: CA RN required
• EMR: Cerner experience strongly preferred
