Safety and Environmental Specialist at IKO

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will drive improvements in safety behaviors among all levels of staff. Responsibilities include leading safety audits, developing job hazard analyses, and supporting ergonomic programs while managing the facility’s health and safety budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and implement hazard control programs
• Conduct regular safety training for staff
• Manage site safety committees and audits
• Liaise with regulatory agencies on safety compliance
• Analyze incident reports and drive corrective actions

Requirements

• BA/BS in occupational safety, engineering, or related field
• Five years of relevant manufacturing experience
• Bilingual in French and English preferred
• Professional EHS certification is a plus
• Adept in MS Office and technical documentation
