Infinitek is partnering with a well-established, North America–based manufacturing organization to identify an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager. This role presents a high-impact opportunity to lead HSE strategy across multiple sites, influence senior leadership, and drive continuous improvement within a complex manufacturing environment.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the HSE Manager will support manufacturing operations across North America by implementing, managing, and monitoring all health, safety, and environmental programs. The successful candidate will ensure regulatory compliance, strengthen a proactive safety culture, and deliver measurable improvements in HSE performance across the organization.

Compensation

  • Upto $135,000+ annually, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure local management, employees, and site safety committees adhere to corporate HSE standards
  • Communicate HSE policies, programs, and corrective action plans to plant personnel
  • Maintain positive relationships with public agencies, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders
  • Serve as the primary HSE representative with regulatory agencies, insurance carriers, and consultants
  • Develop and implement HSE policies, training programs, and initiatives that sustain a strong safety culture
  • Manage HSE budgets, capital projects, and regional HSE leadership resources
  • Monitor changes in federal and provincial/state HSE legislation and ensure organizational compliance
  • Lead incident investigations, lost-time prevention programs, and injury-reduction initiatives
  • Oversee, track, and report HSE metrics; analyze trends to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Recommend and implement process changes to reduce incidents and improve overall HSE performance
  • Develop and deploy HSE communications to operational leaders and employees
  • Coach, mentor, and support HSE professionals and plant teams on safety requirements and best practices
  • Collaborate with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to resolve complex HSE challenges

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring capabilities, including change management
  • Fact-based decision-making and strategic thinking related to HSE initiatives
  • Ability to establish clear goals, KPIs, and performance monitoring systems
  • Proven execution skills with the ability to implement HSE programs effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
  • Demonstrated ability to foster teamwork, process improvement, and a strong safety culture
  • In-depth knowledge of North American occupational health and safety regulations (U.S. and Canada)
  • Working knowledge of OSHA, workers’ compensation, Fire Code, CSA, and ANSI standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, internet-based tools, and email systems

Education & Experience

  • 7–10 years of progressive HSE experience within a continuous manufacturing environment
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable improvements in HSE performance
  • Experience conducting compliance and process audits
  • Project management experience from planning through execution
  • Demonstrated experience coaching, mentoring, and leading teams in safety initiatives

Work Environment

  • Remote-based position with up to 50% travel across North America
  • Combination of office and manufacturing plant environments
  • Hands-on engagement with plant teams and operational leadership

Pay: $95,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
