Join a green initiative as an Environmental Safety Advisor, working flexible hours on the road across various locations in Canada. You'll conduct surveys, collect samples, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

This full-time permanent role demands frequent travel as you monitor the natural environment and respond to hazardous chemical spills. Your expertise in environmental safety, including familiarity with ArcGIS and WHMIS certification, will be vital. Champion safety and contribute to Canada’s net-zero target through your specialized skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental surveys and monitoring programs
• Collect material samples for detailed analysis
• Inspect and respond to hazardous chemical spills
• Develop and maintain safety plans and regulations
• Ensure adherence to environmental health and safety standards

Requirements

• WHMIS Certificate required
• Experience with pollution monitoring techniques
• Specialized knowledge in environmental safety practices
• Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word
• Ability to travel frequently between varied work locations
