Lead safety initiatives in a modern recycled container board mill. Ensure strong compliance with OSHA standards and cultivate a safety-focused culture throughout the operation.

As a Safety Manager, you will drive all safety programs and compliance efforts in a busy 24/7 manufacturing environment. Your responsibilities will encompass risk management, employee training, and promoting a culture where safety is regarded as a fundamental value. Collaborate with mill leadership to reduce incidents while enhancing safety awareness.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage incident investigations and safety data reporting
• Lead comprehensive safety training and coaching sessions
• Develop and refine safety practices aligned with regulations
• Conduct safety audits for various operational facets
• Promote employee engagement in safety initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in safety management or engineering
• 5+ years in safety leadership within manufacturing
• Preferred CSP or other safety certifications
• Strong understanding of safety standards and compliance
• Excellent communication and coaching skills
