The new member will be part of a team dedicated to the continuous improvement of OHS and environmental practices. He/she will participate in the development of the department's strategic plan in his/her field of expertise. How

You’ll Make An Impact

• Active member of the joint OHS committee (facilitation, planning, dissemination)
• Follow‑up of actions with multidisciplinary team resulting from injuries, "near misses" and audits
• Taking charge of internal or corporate OHS and environmental initiatives (Zero Harm program)
• Advising other departments on issues or situations to be resolved
• Maintain statistics and indicators related to OHS and the environment
• Internal auditor of the ISO integrated system and ensure frequent and bilateral communication with the personnel in his field of expertise

What You Bring

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in OHS (advisor or manager) or with similar responsibilities (example: production supervisor with experience in OHS committee) in a manufacturing company.
• College or university degree with a profile compatible with the position
• Experience in CNESST case management (an asset)
• Experience in a unionized environment (an important asset)
• Good communicator, good listener
