Site Safety Officer

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Site Safety Officer to join our team. The Safety Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe working environment by implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, and promoting safety awareness among employees. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying potential hazards and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

• *Responsibilities**
• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of the workplace to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on safety practices, emergency procedures, and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures.
• Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incident reports.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to workplace safety.

• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in construction management software is preferred for tracking compliance and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills for effectively conveying safety information to diverse audiences.
• Ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights for improving workplace safety.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining records and documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various teams while building a culture of safety awareness.

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
