Safety Officer CSO/NCSO-In House

Superior Roofing Ltd. is one of Calgary’s fastest-growing roofing and exterior contractors, working on high-end residential, multifamily, and commercial projects. We are looking for a reliable and experienced in-house Safety Officer to oversee and strengthen our company’s safety program across multiple job sites.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining high safety standards, training crews, and ensuring projects operate efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular job site safety inspections and audits
• Ensure compliance with OH&S regulations and company safety policies
• Lead toolbox talks and safety meetings with crews
• Maintain COR safety program requirements
• Assist with incident investigations and documentation
• Ensure proper PPE and fall protection procedures are followed
• Support supervisors and project managers with safety planning
• Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation
• Coordinate safety training and certifications for employees

Qualifications

• CSO or NCSO designation preferred
• Experience in roofing, construction, or exterior trades strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of Alberta OH&S regulations
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work across multiple job sites in Calgary
• Valid driver’s license
