Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Sherwood Park, Alberta for a Health and Safety Manager. The role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive health and safety programs to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Responsibilities include conducting safety training sessions, auditing workplace conditions, investigating incidents, maintaining safety documentation, and fostering a culture of health, safety, and environmental awareness across the organization.

Qualifications

10+ years Industrial Experience

5+ years HSE Management position

Proficiency in Health & Safety, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), and Occupational Health practices

Experience in providing comprehensive Safety Training programs

Certification in NEBOSH or other recognized health and safety qualifications

Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to implement and manage EHS policies effectively

Attention to detail and the ability to analyze and address potential risks

OH&S Diploma and/or CRSP Required

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline (asset)
