Director of Patient Safety

A company is looking for a Director of Patient Safety to lead IT professionals supporting health services.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee case management processes, quality improvement initiatives, and compliance with OPTN bylaws and federal regulations

Lead the Patient Safety and Compliance Reviews Task Team, conducting performance assessments and quality improvement activities

Deliver progress reports and presentations to stakeholders while collaborating with internal teams to enhance organizational processes

Required Qualifications

10-15 years of experience in quality assurance, clinical compliance, health consulting, or healthcare management, preferably in organ transplantation

Minimum of 5 years in a management or leadership role

Clinical experience is required

Master's degree (MBA, MHA, MSN, MPH, or equivalent) is required; PhD and other clinical qualifications are preferred

Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
