Job Overview

The Safety and Training Manager is responsible for leading, developing, and continuously improving the safety culture and training programs within Grupo EULEN’s Commercial Cleaning Division. This role ensures full compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations while promoting a proactive, prevention‑focused work environment across multiple client sites.

This position partners closely with operations leadership to reduce risk, improve employee engagement in safety practices, and ensure consistent, high‑quality training standards throughout the organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of company-wide safety programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings, job site inspections, and compliance audits across all assigned locations.
  • Perform safety audits of buildings, facilities, tools, and equipment; document findings and track corrective actions to completion.
  • Analyze incident reports, near‑misses, trends, and injury data to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other regulatory agencies; oversee accurate and timely reporting and documentation.
  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver safety and operational training programs for new hires and existing employees.
  • Maintain all required safety records, logs, and documentation in accordance with internal standards and external audit requirements.
  • Prepare written inspection reports and recommendations for corrective and preventive actions; verify implementation.
  • Provide strategic leadership, coaching, and development to supervisors and frontline teams to achieve safety and performance objectives.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company manuals, internal policies, contract requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Support corporate emergency preparedness and response procedures.
  • Participate in operational and leadership meetings and maintain a regular on‑site presence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Valid driver’s license.

Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in safety management, compliance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with risk assessment and incident management.
  • Strong knowledge of safety, security, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and web‑based applications.

Skills

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and people‑management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and meeting‑facilitation skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and conflict‑resolution abilities.
  • Ability to plan strategically and manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to foster a positive safety culture and promote hazard awareness and reporting.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, evenings, weekends, or irregular schedules as operational needs require.

Travel

Regular travel to multiple clients and operational locations within the assigned region is required. 30- 40%
