Construction Safety Inspector

Location: Lexington, KY

Duration: 14+ Months (Immediate Start)

Type: 1099 Contractor

Position Details

• Per Inspection: $175
• Per Diem: No perdiem
• Completion Bonus: $150/month
• Pay Frequency: Weekly
• Project inspection schedule: 1 visit every 2 weeks. Inspection days are not set; they are flexible.

Project Scope

This Safety Manager will do bi-weekly site safety inspections for the construction of a $20M Senior living facility, gut and remodel

Qualifications

• OSHA 500/510
• 5+ years of safety experience
• Experience with the construction of townhomes or similar living facilities .

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
• Support incident investigations, report findings, and implement corrective actions
• Deliver safety training and for employees, subcontractors, and new hires
• Collaborate with project teams to proactively identify safety risks and mitigate hazards
• Maintain safety performance, incident, and compliance documentation and reports
• Promote a safety-first culture across all levels of the organization
