Marmot Construction Ltd. is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Construction Safety Officer to champion our safety culture across active job sites. The ideal candidate brings NCSO accreditation, strong communication skills, and a practical, people-first approach to keeping teams safe.

What you’ll do

· Lead site safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing training.

· Conduct inspections, hazard assessments, and incident investigations.

· Maintain safety documentation and assist with COR/SECOR requirements.

· Collaborate with supervisors and trades to implement corrective actions.

· Promote a positive safety culture through coaching and daily engagement.

What you bring

· NCSO accreditation (required).

· Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract.

· Clear, professional communication and strong interpersonal skills.

· Ability to adapt to changing site conditions and priorities.

· Solid knowledge of Alberta OHS legislation and construction best practices.
