Safety and Compliance Coordinator

Job Title: Safety Coordinator – Trucking Company

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator to join our trucking company. The Safety Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations, maintaining driver qualification files, monitoring ELD logs, conducting safety audits, and promoting a strong safety culture within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations
• Monitor driver logs and hours of service
• Conduct safety meetings and training
• Maintain driver qualification and accident files
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
• Track CSA scores and safety performance metrics

Qualifications

• Experience in transportation/trucking safety preferred
• Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
