Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager, located in Edmonton, AB. The EHS Manager will oversee the implementation and enforcement of safety and environmental policies, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards. Responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, managing workplace safety programs, investigating incidents, and developing preventive measures. The role also involves delivering training programs to employees and collaborating with management to foster a culture of safety.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Health & Safety and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) practices
• Experience in Occupational Health management and Accident Investigation
• Proficiency in conducting Training sessions related to workplace safety and compliance
• Knowledge of safety regulations and ability to ensure compliance in a workplace environment
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CRSP are advantageous
• Degree or diploma in Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, or a related field
