Develop and implement medical safety strategies and policies for neurovascular products in accordance with global regulations and industry standards.
Oversee the safety and risk management of all neurovascular products throughout their lifecycle, including conducting safety assessments and managing safety-related issues.
Serve as the primary point of contact for medical safety concerns related to neurovascular products, both internally and externally.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety considerations are incorporated into product development, clinical trials, and post-market surveillance.
Conduct regular reviews of safety data, including adverse events and product complaints, and take appropriate actions to ensure patient safety.
Lead safety governance committees and provide regular updates and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
Stay informed of changes in regulatory requirements and industry developments related to medical safety and incorporate them into processes and procedures.
Provide expert medical safety guidance and support to other departments, including medical affairs, regulatory affairs, and quality assurance.
Identify and implement strategies for continuous improvement of medical safety processes and systems.
Represent the company in interactions with regulatory agencies, healthcare professionals, and other external stakeholders regarding medical safety matters.
Manage and mentor a team of medical safety professionals, ensuring their development and growth within the company.
Conduct regular training and education sessions for internal staff on medical safety topics, including best practices and industry updates.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and adhere to ethical and legal standards in handling sensitive medical safety information.
