Corporate Safety Manager

Principle HR is conducting an exclusive Confidential Search for a Corporate Safety Manager.

Our client is seeking a professional Safety Leader to provide strategic direction and oversight of the company’s safety program. You will lead the safety function across all corporate and field operations by establishing standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and influencing safety culture at every level of the organization. This position partners closely with Operations, Project Managers, Account Managers, On-Site Safety personnel, and the Service Manager to ensure that all locations — including remote sites — operate in full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. As the Corporate Safety Manager may direct work through site safety associates and/or project teams and serves as the qualifying party for state safety licensing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive safety management experience in construction, industrial, engineering, or project-based environments. Experience MUST include leadership roles in safety as well as demonstrated successful leadership skills.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and multi-state regulatory compliance.
• Experience influencing safety outcomes within a matrixed organization (direct and indirect authority).

Preferred qualifications

• Certifications such as CSP, CHST, CSM, ASP, OSHA 500/501.
• Experience supporting large technical/industrial job sites.

Travel to work sites is required with anticipation of 30% travel.
