Safety Watch Personnel - Oilfield & Industrial Sites - Alberta

Safety First M is hiring Safety Watch personnel to support oilfield and industrial worksites across Alberta. This role focuses on confined space monitoring, gas detection, spark and fire watch, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Ideal candidates are safety-driven individuals with current industry certifications who can confidently intervene in unsafe situations and promote a strong safety culture on site.

What you’ll need

• Valid H2S Alive certification
• Standard First Aid/CPR Level C
• Confined Space Entry certification
• CSTS 2020 and WHMIS
• Clean Non-GDL Class 5 Driver’s License
• Ability to perform confined space watch and atmospheric testing
• Ability to conduct spark/fire watch and gas detection
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations
• Ability to intervene in unsafe acts and conditions
