Overview

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Safety Manager who is a strong people leader and safety advocate.

This role partners closely with plant leadership to support recruiting, employee relations, training, compensation programs, and workplace safety in a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate leads with integrity, listens well, manages conflict effectively, and drives results through collaboration and trust.

Key Responsibilities

Lead full-cycle recruiting, hiring coordination, and onboarding

Maintain strong employee relations through regular plant-floor presence

Coach managers on performance management, documentation, and retention

Administer benefits, payroll coordination, and HR reporting

Support training and development programs, including Pay-for-Skills

Promote a culture of Safe Operations with Zero Harm

Ensure OSHA compliance, safety training, incident investigations, and workers' compensation management

Ensure compliance with federal/state employment laws and company policies

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent HR/business experience

3+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment

Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

HR and/or OSHA certification a plus
