Director of Safety

A company is looking for a Director of Safety for ES Operations (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of a risk-based safety strategy to prevent serious incidents

Oversee the Environment, Safety, Health, and Risk Program (ESHARP) implementation across all locations

Drive leadership engagement and ownership for safety outcomes while fostering a proactive safety culture

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field

12+ years of progressive safety leadership experience in high-risk industries

Demonstrated success in influencing senior leaders and driving safety culture change

Strong understanding of risk management and safety management systems

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining focus on critical risks
