System Safety Engineer

A company is looking for a Staff System Safety Engineer to develop and coordinate safety processes for aviation products.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and coordinate system safety processes for multiple products

Employ safety analysis techniques on engineering products and analyze safety-critical systems

Prepare analyses and assessments, and participate in safety review and design meetings

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a Technical field preferred or equivalent Systems Safety experience

8+ years of experience utilizing system safety techniques for safety-critical systems

Experience with safety assessments for high-criticality aerospace systems

Previous experience working with SAE ARP4761

Experience interfacing with civil or military certification authorities is a plus
