Overview

Kintec is partnered with a pioneering green steel production company constructing a large-scale facility in Northern Sweden. The plant will produce green steel with up to 95% lower CO₂ emissions compared to conventional steel production.

Description

The EHS Supervisor is responsible for organising and administering the HSE function within a designated area of the project. The role holds overall responsibility for HSE documentation, statistics, and coordination to ensure compliance and effective implementation of environmental, health, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Organise and manage HSE activities within the assigned project zone
• Monitor the Quentic safety system and ensure timely closure of actions
• Document internal HSE team meetings
• Review and approve RAMS in coordination with the HSE Manager and BAS-U
• Maintain accurate records of:
• Chemicals
• Machinery and equipment
• Training and certifications
• Permits, including contractor permits
• Monitor and follow up on the Permit to Work process
• Lead daily coordination meetings and share outputs with the wider project team

Mandatory Requirements (Must-Have)

• University degree in a relevant discipline
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in EHS management
• Background in construction, infrastructure, or heavy industry
• Strong knowledge of applicable EHS regulations, standards, and guidelines
• Experience with digital safety management and reporting systems
• Strong organisational and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Very good English (written and spoken); Swedish is an advantage
