is currently recruiting for a

Regional HSE Manager

to lead and elevate our safety function across the region. This role will be instrumental in shaping and advancing a best‑in‑class safety program, while working closely with operational leadership to foster a proactive, high‑performance safety culture grounded in hazard recognition, accountability, and risk mitigation.

This is a full‑time position based out of Acuren’s

Fort McMurray, AB

office, supporting regional operations.

Responsibilities

Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of regional safety programs, policies, and procedures

Ensure alignment and adherence to corporate safety standards and regulatory requirements

Plan, coordinate, and execute safety audits to evaluate field performance and identify improvement opportunities

Oversee incident investigations, ensuring thorough root cause analysis, reporting, and communication of lessons learned across the region

Maintain regional safety metrics and reporting, including monthly performance tracking and trend analysis

Partner with operations and clients to support pre‑job planning, post‑job reviews, and ongoing safety performance improvement

Develop and deliver safety training initiatives, including competency programs and recognition/award systems

Act as a key liaison with client safety teams to strengthen relationships and ensure compliance with site‑specific requirements

Provide leadership in developing safe work practices for new scopes, equipment, and evolving operational needs

Lead regional driver safety programs, including compliance tracking, training, and driver performance management

Requirements

7–10+ years of experience in field‑based safety roles within industrial environments (petrochemical, mining, or similar)

Demonstrated experience in a safety leadership role (Regional, Manager, or Senior Advisor level)

Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and their application within NDT or industrial service environments

Technical understanding of NDT methods and field operations considered a strong asset

Experience leading audits, investigations, and safety program development

Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field preferred

Key Competencies

Strong leadership and ability to influence safety culture across multiple sites

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills (internal and client‑facing)

High level of accountability and ownership over safety performance

Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement

Practical, field‑oriented approach to safety
