Senior Patient Safety Scientist

A company is looking for a US Patient Safety, Sr. Scientist.

Key Responsibilities

Manage safety activities and ensure compliance with health authority regulations and guidance documents

Oversee protocol management and provide pharmacovigilance oversight for clinical studies

Act as a safety liaison between clinical safety and medical teams, addressing safety-related concerns

Required Qualifications

Experienced health care professional with formal research training (e.g., MD, PharmD, DNP, DMSc, MPH, MS, or PhD)

3+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry

Understanding of Phase I-III and / or Phase IV drug development and experience in designing / writing protocols

High level of expertise in computer skills, data analysis, and medical writing

Experience with safety databases (e.g., ARIS, ARGUS, LSMV) and working in a cross-functional environment
